The ISA is fully committed to
maintaining an open and accessible dialogue with the media.
Recognising the 24 hour nature of the media in general and
broadcasting in particular, the communications team have put in
place various channels of communication that will ensure ease of
access allied to a commitment to ensure all enquiries are handled
in a prompt and efficient manner.
We shall work in conjunction with
our Chief Executive, Board members and other key personnel in
providing interview and briefing opportunities to further expand
upon the work the ISA undertakes within the Vetting and Barring
Scheme.
For members of the general public
(but not the media) there is a Vetting and Barring Scheme (VBS)
contact centre which provides members of the public with someone to
speak to and respond to questions on all aspects of the Scheme. The
number is 0300 123 1111.
